Sokol won the regular Ukrainian championship: playoff pairs determined

Sokol won the regular season by a huge margin, earning 74 points against Kremenchuk’s 59.

As is known, in the last round, Kremenchuk defeated Storm, while Odeschyna and Kryzhynka, who started their match with a significant delay due to a long air alarm, will no longer affect the final distribution in the standings, because the capital’s team will no longer rise above 5th place even in the event of a victory, and the debutant of the championship will no longer lose the third place.

Thus, Odeschyna and Storm took 3rd and 4th places ahead of schedule. So, in the semi-final series, Sokil – Storm and Kremenchuk – Odeschyna will play each other. The first matches start on March 9. Last season’s silver medalist, Kyiv Capitals, lost to HC Riga in the Baltic League.
